Ministry of Education and Skills Development
The Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MoESD) — successor to the Ministry of Education following the 2022 reform — is responsible for the country’s schools, technical training institutions, and tertiary policy. It implements the Cambridge curriculum rollout introduced for classes IX and XI in 2026 and the broader Education Reform programme launched by the 2020 Royal Kasho.
The textbook-delivery gap behind Paradox #58 (240,000 unprinted Cambridge textbooks in the 2026 academic year) is one current operational challenge under the ministry’s remit.
