Druk Holding and Investments
Druk Holding and Investments (DHI) is Bhutan’s commercial-investment arm of the state, established in 2007. It holds and actively manages the Royal Government’s shareholdings in major public enterprises — including the Bhutan Power Corporation, Bhutan Telecom, Druk Air, Bank of Bhutan, and the hydropower joint ventures.
DHI is structured as a commercial holding company with a strategy function, dividends to the state Consolidated Fund, and direct participation in strategic investments including the early structuring work for the Gelephu Mindfulness City.
