Royal University of Bhutan

The Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) is the country’s federated public university, established by Royal Charter in 2003. It encompasses nine constituent colleges spread across the country: Sherubtse College, the College of Science and Technology (CST) in Phuentsholing, the Gedu College of Business Studies, the Royal Institute of Management (RIM), and others.

RUB enrolls the majority of Bhutanese undergraduates and is the principal institution behind the country’s tertiary expansion since the 2000s.
