Bhutan Civil Service Examination
The Bhutan Civil Service Examination (BCSE) is the annual entry examination administered by the Royal Civil Service Commission. It is the principal route into the country’s civil service.
Approximately 10,000–12,000 graduates sit the exam each year, against 2,000–2,500 RCSC entry positions. Four out of five graduates do not clear the cut-off. Many sit the exam two or three times before exiting the queue. The exam is the structural bottleneck behind Chapter One.
